Chiara Guglielmetti earned a degree in social and organizational psychology from the University of Padua and a research doctorate in social and developmental psychology. She is associate professor at the University of Milan, Department of Economics, Management, and Quantitative Methods, where she teaches social interaction psychology in healthcare teams on the undergraduate course in public healthcare management and group decision processes on the graduate program in cognitive science and decision processes.
Her areas of research revolve around individual and collective decision processes in organizations and interdisciplinary healthcare workgroups, with a focus on patient engagement and co-production processes of healthcare pathways for chronic conditions. A most recent area of research-intervention and training is the effects of patient aggression on healthcare provider well-being and on conflict management in healthcare organizations.
