Our Mission
Who we are
HEAD is an advanced healthcare research center and one of its kind in Italy. It is grounded on multidisciplinary skills in company management, economics, law, bioengineering, organizational psychology, public health, and healthcare policy.
Why HEAD
The healthcare sector is intrinsically dynamic: as the needs and the roles of patients, providers, and stakeholders evolve, they drive changes in the social, cultural, and political landscape. A determinant of organizational success is leadership.
Leaders are called to identify needs and to coordinate and integrate resources. But these skills must be learned through continuing education and sharing good practices in the interest of fostering technological innovation, expanding data management potential, empowerment, and planning, monitoring, and management criticalities.
HEAD was created to work within healthcare systems and jointly with healthcare organizations. The aim is to provide healthcare providers and healthcare organization managers with the necessary skills to foster an overall view of managerial strategies, organizational and staff resources that encompasses diverse specialist skills and robust soft skills, and to develop via a structured method managerial skills for running a healthcare organization.
To attain these objectives, HEAD has drawn on lateral thinking for working on paradigm shifts in modern healthcare organization and management, institutional share of voice, public health initiatives, coproduction, and concordance. HEAD brings together national and international experience in current developments in healthcare.
HEAD also creates customized approaches to applied national and international research, consulting, continuing professional education, and professional growth that go beyond plain knowledge transfer.
Drawing on its knowledge of the dynamics of the Italian national healthcare service, the healthcare sector, and the life sciences, HEAD can provide clients with lines of intervention and tailored solutions.
