The \u201cAHEAD\u201d series is designed as a \u201cvehicle\u201d for disseminating research conducted within the CRC in Health Administration (HEAD), involving faculty members from the SCIBIS department (main hub), as well as DEMM and Beccaria.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the CRC, numerous research studies and action-research projects are underway, which may lead to the publication of scientific books, \u201cinfluential\u201d texts, and professional manuals designed for the academic community, NHS professionals and the healthcare sector (managers and clinical\/care leaders), as well as institutional and political decision-makers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The topics related to the healthcare-management nexus are highly relevant<\/strong> in both academic and professional debates. The Italian healthcare sector is undergoing profound transformations, including the growth of private providers, the vertical integration of insurance companies, NHS reforms, consolidation among service providers, unprecedented technological innovation, and intertwined ethical and economic issues. The audience interested in these topics is steadily growing, further driven by the increased awareness brought about by the recent pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CRC HEAD\u2019s connections with the healthcare sector provide numerous opportunities<\/strong> to promote the works published in the series and to expand and strengthen UNIMI\u2019s strategic and institutional positioning as a regional and national reference point for healthcare economics, management, and policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
