{"id":1242,"date":"2026-06-19T16:31:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-19T14:31:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/head.unimi.it\/?post_type=person&#038;p=1242"},"modified":"2026-06-19T16:41:18","modified_gmt":"2026-06-19T14:41:18","slug":"antonella-cavalieri","status":"publish","type":"person","link":"https:\/\/head.unimi.it\/en\/profilo\/antonella-cavalieri\/","title":{"rendered":"Antonella Cavalieri"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>She is a PhD candidate in the Industrial Doctoral Programme in <em>Intersectoral Innovation<\/em> at the University of Milan, where she conducts research within the thematic area \u201cDigitalisation in healthcare: governance, management, and sustainability assessment.\u201d Following a professional experience in a consulting firm, she returned to academia with the aim of combining her passion for research with a strong focus on the operational and organisational implications of innovation in healthcare systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her research interests combine digital transformation, governance, impact assessment, and healthcare service sustainability, with particular attention to public value creation processes and the organisational changes driven by the adoption of digital technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is currently involved in research projects aimed at the multidimensional and multi-stakeholder assessment of the impacts of digitalisation in healthcare. In particular, she contributes to a study on the introduction of performance monitoring systems in operating theatres at ASST Fatebenefratelli Sacco, as well as to a project evaluating the economic, organisational, and social impacts of telemedicine and accountability mechanisms within the NeuroTeleCare telenursing service of the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Neurologico Carlo Besta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2025, she has been carrying out teaching and tutorial activities within the course <em>Management and Evaluation of Innovation<\/em> in the Master\u2019s Degree Programme in Healthcare Management and Health Sector Administration (MASS \u2013 LM-77) at the University of Milan.
