Extended Faculty
HEAD also relies on an extended faculty that can be activated based on specific competence needs, as certain knowledge and skills are only developed through practice. The proximity, cross-pollination, and collaboration with the extended faculty is an added value for HEAD’s academic core, as it enriches its “pracademic” nature—an hybridization between the rigor of academics and the pragmatism of practitioners, which is essential for effective work in training, research, and consulting within the healthcare sector. This includes directors of healthcare organizations, business executives, leaders of associations, scientific societies, and public institutions connected to the healthcare sector.
